Bio

Roksana Sadeghi is a PhD student in Bio Medical Engineering department at Johns Hopkins University. She joined Dr. Gislin Dagnelie lab since January 2018 and interested in visual prosthesis studies. She studied Physics in undergraduate at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran and she received her M.Sc. in Bio Medical Imaging from University of California in San Francisco. As her Master thesis, she studied a probabilistic mathematical shape analysis model to analyze the moving shapes under the MRI. After finishing her masters, she worked one year at Northern California Institute for Research and Education where she studied the neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal dementia and depression.
